GREECE
This website, like my whole life, is currently being rebuilt and reassessed. Not everything is finished yet, and some pictures, like the ones you probably hoped to see here, might be missing.
Most of the pictures I have chosen to show here from Greece were taken on the small Greek island of Donoussa. This island was, before mass tourism and gentrification, one of the jewels of the Greek archipelago. I have been privileged to spend one or two months every year there for almost 25 years. My way of making pictures, as usual, was rather aimless and confused. The portraits here are the result of random encounters with local people I have met, people whom I most of the time shared no common language with.
Right now it's hard for me to try to guess when everything will be finished, but I hope that I'll be happy with the result before 2024 is over. I also hope that those of you who find yourselves here in the middle of the transformation will be curious enough to come back later and see how it has turned out.
